My first experience with fabric was to play with my grandmother’s scraps on her treadle sewing machine. I was smitten. I first started quilting in the early eighties. That was before I knew about rotary cutting and I quilted everything by hand.
I was influenced by my mother who was an accomplished seamstress. Now that I am retired, I have enjoyed experimenting with fabric wrapped rope baskets and everything that my embroidery machine can do. I truly enjoy making quilts.
