A Groupon coupon for a stained glass class and a continuing ed night class in beading started as hobbies that have since turned into a retirement obsession. There is a challenge in taking pieces of glass, cutting them, grinding and fitting them together, copper foiling and finally soldering them together to create something beautiful.
My work with leather bracelets started out as gifts for friends that quickly evolved to selling at craft fairs and then stores in Portsmouth. Over time I have added necklaces, key rings, and earrings. The variety of textures, colors, and design of the leather are constantly changing and I’m always searching for new slides and beads to compliment it.
